Today I popped along to the spring edition of Top Drawer London, one of the UK’s leading trade shows. Basically every independent (and some big players) home, craft and gift products are on show to buyers (and press, and nosy people like me who like to spend their free time looking at pretty things). Held at Olympia, London, Top Drawer is massive. It took me hours to get through all the exhibitor stands. Yet I did it, and here is my pick of the best of the bunch! To make life easier I've even created a little shop at the bottom of the post where you can buy products from my fave exhibitors....

My top exhibitor stand: broste copenhagen

It was the the beautiful hues of blush pink that drew me in, then I couldn't leave! Broste Copenhagen had so many items I wanted to purchase, from pink and gold side tables, to beautiful ceramics:

Even their candles were really cool and interesting, and I'd seen a lot of candles at Top Drawer:

Broste Copenhagen products can be purchased via my shop at the bottom of this post!

The colours of their products were so appealing, with beautiful greens, greys and earthy colours making up thier collection for SS17.

I loved these Broste Copenhagen ceramic clocks

Just how cool are these Karl Lagerfeld, Daft Punk and John Galliano cartoon design postcards? They had these in prints of all sizes, while other celebs included Prince and Freddie Mercury. Image Republic do a number of collections of drawings and illustrations that are just so fun. Lucky for me I got to keep these postcards above and they will be framed and up on my wall very soon!

The best of the rest

These bright and bold cushions by textile designer and maker Laura Spring really caught my eye. I love this pink and green number.

Her tea towels were equally fab.

I was super chuffed to see the new LSA International Sorbet tumblers on display at their exhibitor stand. If you follow me on Twitter you know I've been ogling these in the LSA International SS17 catalogue recently! They didn't disappoint, I'm going to have to buy these when they come out as they are just so perfect for summer.

These little pastel vases by Chive were tempting (you'll know Chive from their colourful giraffe head vases). The range is called Frost but doesn't seem to be out yet. Something to look out for later in the year!

These delicate glass items with wooden ball lids from Sagaform were super-cute. Not sure really what they are for but they look nice - and that's all that matters really isn't it??

I loved these butterfly and feather print aprons from Swedish brand Jamida. They retail at £58 so are pretty expensive, but they were really well made with thick, good quality fabric.

Anne Jacobs lighting and textiles I'd seen before on Instagram, but this was the first time I'd seen her products first hand. I loved how bright they were, and of course, prints of birds get me every time. You can purchase some of Anne Jacobs designs below in my Top Drawer shop!

I've been following Anna Hayman Designs on Instagram for a while and love her prints, so I was super happy to see her products at Top Drawer. These lampshades were so beautiful and so well made.

Australian brand Sunnylife's stand was really appealing, with inflatable flamingos and pineapple picnic items. These little cactus salt and pepper shakers caught my eye.

These ceramic tin mugs from Stolen Form were ace. Stolen Form casts iconic urban items into striking functional ceramic products.

On my lust list.....this beautiful blue GPO Bermuda vintage style record player. The no-legs case version is available to purchase from my shop below for less than £100 can you believe!

These Umbra Trigg plant holders in gold and white are something I want to get in my dining area at home. I just don't like succulents or cacti? Suggestions of what else I can put in them intsead greatly appreciated....

The ultimate gift exhibitor for me was Art Rookie. Art Rookie is a really cool concept, founded by two young art graduates who know how tough it is for young artists to get noticed. They developed a unique online sales platform for UK artists and designers to have their work printed on a selection of gift and home ware items. I think practically all my friends would absolutely love a Grace Jones mug or a Bowie cushion. Only a tenner for a mug aswell!

Now I know this isn't really 'interiors', but I thought Design Letters 'Baby's First Book' was amazing. I know when I went to buy a 'baby's first book' when pregnant with my son, all these books were awful, they had bunny rabbits on, teddy bears etc. This book is for the parents, not the baby, something that Design Letters have worked out with these gorgeous typeface books. If you need to get a cool gift for an expectant parent then this is it!
