If you love seasonal decor, Easter and spring offer an excellent opportunity to give your home a bit of a mood-boosting refresh by sprucing up your interior with joyful Easter trees and baskets, cheery spring wreaths, or to simply indulge in some Easter home decor crafts.

Easter and spring decor doesn’t have to be expensive or elaborate - it also doesn't have to be too childlike or full of pastels! If you’d prefer your Easter decor to have a more modern or stylish edge, here are eight Easter and spring home decor ideas to give you some inspiration!

Stylish Spring Wreaths

With colourways of yellows, pale greens and soft pinks, there is nothing more joyous than a seasonal Easter or spring wreath hanging on the front door to greet you when you get home. You can buy spring or Easter-themed wreaths at stores like Homesense or Next, or you can have a go at making your own.

If you want a more natural look to your spring wreath, I made this door wreath from garden cuttings.

Easy Easter Trees

Easter trees are so simple to create and with the right decorations, they can look impeccably stylish. All you need are some twisted willow branches cut down to sit supported in a wide vase with a small-rimmed neck so that the stems do not flop sideways. I particularly love hanging paper and glass decorative eggs; you can buy good ones at H&M Home.

Easter Door Arch

If you want to go bigger, bolder and completely extra with your Easter decor, how about an Easter doorscape? I made an Easter door arch for my home a couple of years ago and my neighbours loved it!

Easter and spring table centrepiece

A decorative centrepiece on your dining table adds a gentle nod to seasonal decor without going over the top. Place a simple vine wreath in the middle of your table, decorate it with eggs and foliage and then place pillar candles inside.

Easter Tablescape Ideas

Prepare your dining table on Easter day with eggs wrapped like bunny ears in modern fabrics. Simply roll up a napkin or a fabric swatch, take the opposite corners and then bind them at the top with ribbon or twine.

Easter and spring table settings work well with casual settings of mismatched plates and cups in soft tones of yellow, blue and pink. Make sure that you include lots of spring flowers in bud vases, such as tulips, narcissi and Muscari.

Easter Art Prints

If spring florals or easter crafts are not your thing, how about adding some temporary Easter or spring artwork in your hallway or kitchen? Desenio sells a great range of contemporary seasonal prints.

Artificial hanging spring floral installation

I love this idea for Easter or spring decor. An explosion of faux or dried florals over the dining table is a dramatic statement and can be achieved with some screw-in hooks and a clear cable. This look would also work with a single large branch suspended from the ceiling containing hanging decorative eggs draped throughout.

Subtle Pussy Willow

If a huge ceiling installation isn’t your thing, try adding subtle pots of Pussy Willow on shelves and side tables for a gentle nod to Easter, without the seasonal decor feeling dominating. You can buy single stems from florists, or larger bunches at local flower markets.
