If there is one thing I'm rather partial to, it's a jazzy wallpaper. I can't understand putting up a plain, boring, one colour wallpaper - what's the point? If I'm going to be putting up wallpaper in my home, then it has to be interesting, it has to be bright and it has to be good.

When historic wallpaper company Cole & Son sent me some samples of their new 'Ardmore Collection' (launching this week at Paris Deco Off 2017) they immediately caught my eye.

A collaboration with Ardmore Ceramic Art (incredible South African ceramics made by local artists), the collection is vivid and interesting. Rooted in African tradition and culture, the Ardmore designs and prints on the paper is a reflection of South African life. Animal prints and images feature heavily, from the leopard print 'Senzo Spot' (available in a multitude of colourways), to decorated hogs in 'Singita' .

I love 'Narina', above, as it's a bit Art Deco and would look amazing hung in a small room such as a downstairs toilet.

What do you think of this new collection for Cole & Son? I can imagine the Senzo spot pattern being quite popular. Let me know in the comments below!
