New Interiors For AW26: My Top Homeware Picks For The Season

All of a sudden summer is over: the heatwave has passed, the kids have gone back to school, and new home and interior releases for autumn and winter are being launched by many of the larger home decor brands and retailers.
I have to admit I do love it when we start this new season and there’s a shift towards more autumnal homeware. I welcome the emergence of thicker, more luxurious fabrics and tones of wine, plum and tobacco splashed across the latest home accessories.
Over the past week there have been a number of new fabric, wallpaper and AW26 home decor collections that have caught my eye, so here are my top picks from everything that I’ve seen.

New Romo Fabrics & Wallpapers
Romo are one of my favourite fabric and wallcovering brands as the designs are always modern but feel timeless. They always get the colour palette right and I am a huge fan of their new Averly (small-scale prints and weaves), Lowen (decorative weaves) and Pinto (trimmings) collections, featuring some very desirable stripe, pomegranate and woven check prints that I am desperate to use within my home in the future.

New in at M&S Home
This week, I attended the AW26 press show for high street giants Marks & Spencer. While the show was mainly dominated by their new clothing collections, they did display a wide range of new homeware for the forthcoming season with a focus on lighting and tableware, as well as a continued collaboration with the designer Kelly Hoppen and a kitchen serveware range with Tom Kerridge.
Some of my favourite finds included a Checkerboard Gauze Jacquard Bedding Set with weaved detailing, a tiny chocolate marble decorative bowl (not yet online) and a glossy metal lamp that comes in both brown and olive green.

METRE Candles
The Christmas brand imagery is coming in thick and fast and I was really drawn to the METRE candles Christmas shoot, a collaboration with Somerley House and Tina Vedrine. METRE’s 50cm, 75cm, or 100cm length candles are just the perfect addition for a dramatically decorated fireplace, and I'll be picking some up for my Christmas mantel this year.
Kelly Wearstler x H&M Home
This collection has been talked about a lot for months, and now it has finally hit the shelves. The iconic American designer has partnered with the huge chain on a select number of furniture, home decor and clothing pieces and understandably, most things have sold out upon launch, but the ‘notify me’ box attached on each page suggests that it will all be restocked in the future once the ‘sell out hype’ dies down. The burgundy metal table with circular wheel feet and the darker-coloured Cova candlesticks are my top picks from the range.

Ormonde Jayne Room & Linen Spray
I was recently sent some samples of the new Ormonde Jayne Parfum d’Interieur scented mist home and linen spray and I absolutely loved it. I’ve tried loads of room sprays over the years; never has one lingered as much as this. It comes in four fragrances (Ambre Royal being my favourite) decanted in a heavy cut glass bottle, which makes it feel extra fancy when displayed at home.
Colour & Design Of The Year 2027 by Graham & Brown
Every autumn, Lancashire-based wallpaper and paint manufacturers Graham & Brown focus on a Design & Colour Of The Year. This autumn, it’s a muted beige pink called Rose Earth that is G&B’s focal shade, paired with a large-scale floral wallpaper titled Roselle Grove as their Design Of The Year.
Rose Earth is a very versatile colour that changes depending on the light, while Roselle Grove is extremely tactile - it looks like a textured, 3D pattern, even though the paper is printed in 2D.

Neptune
Homeware favourites Neptune have created an autumn edit on their website that is full of very lovely things. I am a huge fan of this Athena Pendant Uplighter, as well as their range of light oak furniture.
